Jindabyne is located on the shores of Lake Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains, south east NSW, approximately 450km south west of Sydney.
It is an easy 5.5 to 6 hour drive from Sydney via Canberra and Cooma, or 7 hours from Melbourne and an easy 2 hour drive from Canberra. With more than half the distance on freeway standard or dual carriage roads.
By air
Canberra Airport is a 2.5 hour drive from Jindabyne and a 40 min flight from Sydney.
Snowy Mountains Airport a 30min drive from Jindabyne and a 50 min flight from Sydney.
